The "Singing Fireplace"

Arrived last night and hooked up the Camry’s car battery so we could go to the grocery store to get milk and eggs, enough to eat today so we wouldn’t have to go out. Today was Recovery Day and Finding Everything Again Day.  It rained (is that an “Of Course”? although there has been good weather in Seattle lately) so our fireplace started sounding its “bell note” as the water drips down the chimney.  It’s really quite pretty…we know it’s raining then, without having to look outside.

     We started our list of errands which we will do tomorrow.

      Andy stopped by tonight.  We thought he had wanted to see us, well, I guess, “Yes!” but he really wanted to charge his phone, he said, since he was down to 1%, and as he was in the area and didn’t have his car charger, so he was rushing in.   Joan had the cord ready and then he said, Oh, you don’t have an iPhone5?  Nope, only a 4….. Hmmmmm…we’re behind the times.

   It was good to see him.
